Shelley moved from Hugo to Chisago City with her three children in 1999. After raising them on Green Lake and in the Chisago Lakes School District, they became successful adults and left her an empty nester. A few years ago, she downsized and now lives on North Center Lake. She fell in love with the area because of the numerous lakes, outdoor spaces, and down-to-earth character of its residents. Shelley enjoys all seasons and all types of outdoor recreation.
For the past 25 years, Shelley has worked in administration as City Clerk for the City of Hugo. In that role she has supported numerous volunteer organizations and understands how civic service is important in making a community a great place to live, work and play. Shelley is a one of the founding members of the CLGNC. Her need to give back to the community and work alongside like-minded people has helped create a vibrant group with a shared passion for acts of kindness. Shelley encourages everyone to join and support the CLGNC in making a positive impact on all who live in and visit the Chisago Lakes Area.

Natasha is a Concordia University, St. Paul graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration. In a short time, she advanced to various leadership roles within the company in which she is currently employed. Her roles within the company have given her the opportunity to work with and manage several teams and projects, which she enjoys greatly. She was also selected to represent the company in the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce Leader’s Lab, joining a group of young leaders from Minnesota. This gave her the opportunity to network and build relationships with leaders from around the state.
In the communities they serve, Natasha actively represents her company with community volunteer efforts, projects, and initiatives. Many of these projects involved planning, logistics, and fundraising. She believes it’s important to be involved in community efforts, which is why the Chisago Lakes Good Neighbor’s Club is a great fit for her.
Growing up in Minnesota, Natasha has always enjoyed outdoor and lake life; one of the reasons she quickly fell in love with the Chisago Lakes area. Although new to our community, Natasha is passionate and dedicated to maintaining and promoting the well-being of the Chisago Lakes area by living our CLGNC mission statement.

Dennis lived in the Chisago lakes area as a child until 8th grade when his family moved to Lake Elmo, graduating from Stillwater High. He loves all outside activities and being around family and friends! His family started a production woodworking business, and they all worked together at it for 28 years. During that time, Dennis started a residential construction business which he still works at. He moved back to the area in his 30’s and raised three children that all graduated from Chisago High School. They have all started their way! With the love for their community, it has always been Dennis and his family’s priority to support all local businesses, and to show respect to our parks and lakes. He looks forward to working together to help each other have a better life and a better environment!
