Meeting Minutes
Minutes, also known as minutes of meeting, protocols or, informally, notes, are the instant written record of a meeting or hearing.
Meeting minutes of the most recently concluded meeting need to be approved at the next official meeting BEFORE they are published as the official minutes.
This is a common practice within any type of official organization, including nonprofits, government, etc., as it is an important step to ensure the minutes are agreed upon as accurate by the members and board before becoming official.
